Description

Our fun and festive Apple Cider Bourbon Cocktail recipe is a delicious beverage that is perfect for this Fall season!


Ingredients

Scale

Cinnamon Sugar Rim:

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • real maple syrup

Bourbon Cocktail:

  • 1.53oz apple cider
  • 1.5oz bourbon (or brandy)
  • 1oz orange liqueur (we used Gran Marnier)
  • 3 dashes of bitters
  • 0.51oz real maple syrup
  • garnish (optional): star anise, apple slices, cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Rim Glass: Put the cinnamon and sugar on a small plate and mix to combine. Grab a low ball cocktail glass and use your finger to spread a small amount of maple syrup around the rim. Flip the glass over and turn the rim in the cinnamon sugar mixture to create a cinnamon sugar rim around the top.
  2. Cocktail Shaker: Add the apple cider, bourbon, orange liqueur, bitters, and 0.5 oz of maple syrup to a cocktail shaker. Secure the lid on top and give it a good shake.
  3. Pour + Taste: Add ice cubes to the rimmed glass and pour the cocktail over the top. Taste and adjust any flavors or sweetness as desired.
  4. Serve: Enjoy this cozy cocktail with any of your favorite garnish ingredients!

Notes

  • Sweetness: highly recommend starting with 0.5oz of maple syrup, and then you can add more, if desired.
