Description

Cold Brew Tea – a simple, easy tutorial that teaches you how to make your own cold brew tea at home! Perfect for hot summer days!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large individual tea bags of your choice
  • 64 oz filtered water

Instructions

  1. Combine water and tea bags in large glass container.
  2. Place in refrigerator overnight (12-24 hours).
  3. Remove tea bags.
  4. Store tea in refrigerator for up to 7 days.

Notes

  • Best kind of tea: you really can’t go wrong! Use your favorite – mine is the Tazo Passion hibiscus tea!
  • Sweetener: if you want to add in a sweetener of some kind I would suggest a simple syrup – to taste.
  • French Press: you can easily make cold brew in a french press! Simply add loose leaf tea + water to your french press (1 teaspoon loose leaf tea for every 6-8 ounces of water) and let sit overnight in the fridge. After 12-24 hours place the top on and press down on the plunger.
  • Infused Tea: feel free to add some fruit or aromatics to your tea to infuse even more flavor into them during the steeping process! We love strawberries and oranges!
  • Storage: store cold brew tea in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks or so!
