Description

Our quick and easy Cranberry Pull Apart Bread is a festive appetizer that is perfect for your next holiday party or family gathering!

Ingredients

Scale
  • round loaf of sourdough bread
  • 1/2 cup cranberry jam (we used cranberry bourbon jam)
  • 8oz brie cheese, remove rind and cut into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • garnish: fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Prep: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Cut Bread: Use a serrated bread knife to make horizontal cuts across the loaf of bread, lengthwise. Do NOT cut all the way through the loaf. Turn the bread and make the same type of cuts going across the bread the other direction, creating a checkerboard pattern.
  3. Add Jam: Use a spoon to evenly distribute the jam into all of the cuts in the bread.
  4. Add Cheese: Now, evenly place the pieces of brie cheese in all the bread crevices.
  5. Butter: Use a basting brush to lightly brush the top of the bread with melted butter.
  6. Bake: Place the bread on a baking sheet, loosely cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  7. Serve: Put bread on a serving platter and garnish with fresh rosemary. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Jam: any variety of jam will work here, just use your favorite and feel free to add more or less.
  • Gluten-Free: feel free to use a gluten-free loaf of bread here!
