Description
Learn how to make garlic herb butter right at home for the freshest flavor and texture. Use it on steaks, seafood, bread, and more!
Ingredients
Scale
- 3–4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1–2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- pinch of salt, to taste
Instructions
- Combine: Add all ingredients to a small bowl and stir to combine.
- Wrap & Roll: Place butter mixture on a sheet of wax paper. Wrap the wax paper around the butter mixture and form it into a log shape.
- Chill: Place wrapped butter in the freezer for 30 minutes or in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours to firm up before using.
- Enjoy on bread, steak, seafood, or your favorite veggies!
Notes
- Herbs: feel free to really use any herbs you want just keep the amount to about 1-2 tablespoons for every 3-4 tablespoons of butter you use. If you’re using dried herbs, put one teaspoon for every tablespoon of fresh herbs.
- Salt: You know your pallet best. If salted butter plus a pinch of salt is too much for you, omit the salt completely. Adjust the salt amount to you liking if using unsalted butter.
