Grilled Lemons

Description

Grilled Lemons – an easy, step-by-step tutorial that teaches you how to grill lemons (sliced and halved). So easy!


Ingredients

  • 1 lemon (cut in half or cut into thick slices)
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Ensure your grill grates are clean and set grill to HIGH HEAT.
  2. Brush your lemon halves or slices with olive (or avocado) oil. 
  3. Place lemons over direct heat 1-2 minute per side or until there are nice char marks across them.  For halves you only need to grill the one side. 
  4. Remove from grill and use in your favorite recipe (we love them in this Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup).  

Notes

  • Can you make them ahead of time: I wouldn’t recommend it. These are best when cooked right before using them.
