Description

How to Grill Juicy Pork Chops (Grilled Pork Chops) – a simple, step-by-step guide to cook the BEST grilled pork chops that are juicy and delicious!

Ingredients

Instructions

Seasoning Option:

  1. Ensure grill grates are clean and preheat grill to medium high heat (between 350-450 degrees F).
  2. Place pork chops on a large plate. Pat dry with clean paper towel.
  3. Season with kosher salt and ground black pepper (or pork chop seasoning).
  4. Place pork chops over direct heat and close grill. Let cook for 5-7 minutes.
  5. Flip pork chops and let cook another 5 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F.
  6. Remove from grill and let rest 5-10 minutes.

Marinade Option:

  1. Ensure grill grates are clean and preheat grill to medium high heat (between 350-450 degrees F).
  2. Combine marinade (see options here).
  3. Pat pork chops dry with a clean paper towel. Place pork chops in a large casserole dish or silicone bag.
  4. Pour marinade over top and ensure the marinade fully coats the pork chops. Let sit for 30 minutes.
  5. Use a heavy duty piece of aluminum foil and create a foil “tray” out of it. Place on the grill over direct heat and spray with avocado oil (or other preferred nonstick).
  6. Place pork chops on the foil and close grill. Let cook for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Flip pork chops and let cook another 5 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees F.
  8. Remove from grill and let rest 5-10 minutes.

Notes

  • Grilling with Marinade: you don’t have to use the aluminum foil method if you are using a pork chop marinade, but after testing our marinades we found they worked better and retained more flavor from the marinade this way. You can easily grill them without it if you want!
