Description

A cold and refreshing summer cocktail, this easy Michelada recipe is flavorful, delicious and so easy to make!

Ingredients

Scale
  • lime wedge
  • 1 tablespoon tajin seasoning (for rim)
  • ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup clamato juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice
  • 1/41/2 cup Mexican beer
  • pickle spear

Instructions

  1. Rim Glass + Ice: Rub a lime wedge around the edge of a beer glass. Place tajin on a small plate and then rub the rim of the glass in it to coat. Set glass down and fill with ice.
  2. Combine + Pour: In a cocktail shaker combine clamato juice, hot sauce, worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, lime juice and pickle juice. Cover tightly and shake. Pour over ice. Top with cold beer.
  3. Garnish: Add a pickle spear to the glass and feel free to add lime wedge on the rim. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Gluten-Free: Use Tamari instead of soy sauce to make this gluten-free.
  • Beer Recs: We used a classic Corona here, but any Mexican lager beer works great.
