Description

This is a festive, easy, and delicious Hot Dog Mummies recipe that your whole family will love at your next Halloween celebration!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package all-natural hot dogs
  • 1 package store-bought crescent rolls
  • optional: candy eyes
  • serving suggestion: dipping sauces of your choice (ketchup, mustard, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Unroll crescent roll dough. Find the seams and pinch together to create a flat piece of dough.
  3. Use a pizza cutter to cut the dough into ¼ inch strips.
  4. Wrap 2-3 strips around each hot dog like a mummy. Continue until all dough is used up or you run out of hot dogs.
  5. Place on a baking sheet (make sure they aren’t touching) and bake on middle rack for 10-12 minutes. Remove and let cool slightly.
  6. Move to a plate and place two candy eyes on each (if you want).
  7. Serve with dipping sauce of your choice and enjoy!

Notes

  • Crescent Rolls: use whatever works best for you and if you want to make your own crescent roll dough, that is great! We love the organic, store-bought crescent roll dough to make this recipe super easy and stress-free.
