Description

Pan Fried Shrimp – an easy, simple recipe that teaches you how to make pan-fried shrimp – perfect for salads!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp, deveined and shell removed
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil or ghee
  • 12 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with kosher salt and pepper.
  2. Place large cast iron skillet on stove and bring to medium-high heat.
  3. Add some of the olive oil or ghee and swirl to coat the pan.
  4. Place shrimp in hot pan and let cook approx. 1-2 minutes per side or until meat is no longer translucent. Add additional oil or ghee, as needed, to keep pan from drying out.
  5. Remove shrimp from pan and serve however you want!
