Description

Our simple and delicious Roasted Garlic Pizza recipe is perfect for your next pizza night! Packed with flavor and fresh veggies!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package pizza dough mix (or homemade pizza dough)
  • 2 heads of roasted garlic 
  • 1 large heirloom tomato, sliced into 1/2 inch slices
  • 1 shallot, peeled & sliced
  • 48oz package fresh mozzarella (use as much as desired)
  • 1/2 cup fresh arugula
  • 23 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Pizza Dough: Make dough according to package instructions or make our easy homemade pizza dough.
  2. Toppings: When dough is ready for pizza toppings, add roasted garlic cloves (use as much or as little as you want), mozzarella cheese (break into chunks) and shallots.
  3. Bake: Place in oven according to applicable package instructions. Recommended that toppings bake for approx. 6-7 minutes.
  4. Broil: broil pizza on high for approx. 3 minutes or until cheese starts to brown and tomatoes are sufficiently roasted. Remove from oven.
  5. Finish: Add arugula, olive oil and kosher salt. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Pizza Toppings: feel free to get creative here and add or remove any toppings according to your personal preference.
  • Storage: leftover pizza can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days. You may want to remove the arugula before reheating to prevent sogginess.
