Description

Salmon Dill Sauce – an absolutely delicious salmon dill sauce recipe that is perfect with any salmon recipe!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (regular or dairy-free)
  • 1/4 cup mayo (regular or paleo)
  • 3 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to a small mixing bowl; stir to combine.
  2. Taste and add additional dill or garlic, as needed.
  3. Use with your favorite salmon recipe (we love this grilled salmon and this blackened salmon!)

Notes

  • Paleo/Whole30: to make this sauce paleo/Whole30 simply use a dairy-free/compatible sour cream and a paleo mayo.
  • Storage: You can easily make this sauce ahead of time and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
  • Can you freeze it: I wouldn’t recommend freezing the dill sauce since it has dairy in it.
