The easiest way to make baked potatoes! With 5 minutes of prep time + hands-off cook time this will be your new favorite baked potato recipe!
Ingredients

- 4–6 medium-sized russet potatoes
- extra virgin olive oil
- kosher salt
Instructions
- Prep: Wash potatoes and dry with paper towel. Pierce each potato 3-4 times with fork.
- Oil + Salt: Place potatoes on a plate and drizzle with olive oil; rub all over to coat. Sprinkle potatoes with kosher salt.
- Slow Cook: Place inside slow cooker and cover (no need for liquid). Let cook on HIGH setting for 3-4 hours or on LOW setting for 7-8 hours. Remove and serve immediately.
- Serve: Enjoy with all of your favorite toppings – we love to turn them into a Loaded Baked Potato or Chili Baked Potato!
Notes
- Crispy Potato Skins: if you want extra-crispy skins feel free to place under broiler for a minute or two or even on the grill.
- Cook time listed in the recipe card is for cooking potatoes on the high setting.
