Description

Southwest Dressing – the easiest homemade southwest dressing recipe! Made with simple, real ingredients and perfect for a Southwest Salad!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup sour cream (regular or dairy-free)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey (more if desired)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in a wide-mouth mason jar.
  2. Stir to combine. 
  3. Taste and add any extra salt, lime juice, etc. – as desired. 
  4. Use on your favorite salad – we love it on this Southwest Salad!

Notes

  • Dairy-Free: to make this dairy-free simply use a dairy-free sour cream!
  • Storage: place in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
