Description

An easy and delicious Spiked Apple Cider recipe made with less than 10 ingredients and perfect for your next Holiday party!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 gallon apple cider
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 apple, sliced
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 cup rum or bourbon 
  • 1 star anise
  • 34 whole cloves
  • 34 whole allspice

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to a slow cooker.
  2. Cover and turn to LOW for at least 2 hours before serving. 
  3. If not serving right away, you can continue to keep it on LOW or WARM until you are done serving.

Notes

  • Non-Alcoholic Version: feel free to omit the alcohol, if you prefer. We also have a cozy Spiced Apple Cider that makes a great mocktail.
  • Stove Top: option to put all the ingredients in a big pot on the stove top and simmer at a low heat. Keep it covered and make sure it is simmering, not boiling.
