Caprese Skewers with Balsamic Glaze Recipe

Caprese skewers with balsamic glaze are an easy, fresh and delicious appetizer to be served at your next gathering.

Equipment

Ingredients 

  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • 0.5 ounce fresh basil leaves
  • 6 ounces mini mozzarella balls
  • 2 tbs balsamic glaze

Instructions

  • Assemble - Holding a skewer in your hand, pierce a cherry tomato, sliding it all the way to the end. Repeat that process with a piece of fresh basil, mozzarella ball, another piece of fresh basil and another cherry tomato. 
  • Repeat - Repeat this process until you have used up all the ingredients.
  • Drizzle - Drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: These are a great appetizer to make-ahead! Just assemble, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and then drizzle with balsamic glaze right before serving.
