Our delicious Strawberry Matcha Latte is a fun spin on the classic version to enjoy with your breakfast in the morning!
Ingredients
4tablespoonsstrawberry jamdivided
3/4cupmilk of your choicewe used oat milk
1teaspoonvanilla extract
1/3cupwater
1teaspoonmatcha powder
1-2teaspoonshoney
ice cubes
Instructions
Blender: Put 3 tablespoons jam, 3/4 cup milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a blender or small food processor. Blend on high to fully combine.
Matcha Mixture: Whisk together the 1/3 cup water, 1 teaspoon matcha powder, and 1 teaspoon honey in a small saucepan. Option to add more honey to your desired sweetness. Warm on the stove top over medium heat until dissolved and fully combined. Remove and cool slightly.
Pour: Put the remaining tablespoon of jam in the bottom of a glass, add ice cubes, pour the milk mixture over the ice, and then top with the matcha mixture.
Serve: Enjoy immediately!
Notes
Dairy Free: simply use a plant-based milk, we used oat milk, but you can also use almond milk, cashew milk, etc.
