Yum Yum Sauce Recipe
The perfect addition to any Hibachi Night!! This homemade Yum Yum Sauce recipe is made with real ingredients you probably already have!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup mayo
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar*
- 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Add ingredients to a small bowl; whisk to combine.
- Taste and add adjust any flavors, as needed.
- We love using this in our favorite hibachi recipes, like our Hibachi Chicken!
Notes
- Ketchup/Sweetness: for reference we used Simply Heinz to test and develop this recipe - if you use a no-sugar added ketchup, such as a Primal Kitchen, just know the resulting flavor will obviously not be as sweet either.
- *Granulated Sugar: feel free to sub in some coconut sugar for the granulated sugar, just be aware the color may look a little different due to the dark brown coloring of the coconut sugar.
- Make it Spicy: feel free to add in a little cayenne pepper to add a little kick and make a more spicy yum yum sauce!
