Description

The perfect addition to any Hibachi Night!! This homemade Yum Yum Sauce recipe is made with real ingredients you probably already have!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup mayo
  • 1 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar*
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients to a small bowl; whisk to combine.
  2. Taste and add adjust any flavors, as needed.
  3. We love using this in our favorite hibachi recipes, like our Hibachi Chicken

Notes

  • Ketchup/Sweetness: for reference we used Simply Heinz to test and develop this recipe – if you use a no-sugar added ketchup, such as a Primal Kitchen, just know the resulting flavor will obviously not be as sweet either.
  • *Granulated Sugar: feel free to sub in some coconut sugar for the granulated sugar, just be aware the color may look a little different due to the dark brown coloring of the coconut sugar.
  • Make it Spicy: feel free to add in a little cayenne pepper to add a little kick and make a more spicy yum yum sauce!
