Our delicious Blackberry Mojito recipe is the perfect cocktail to sip on those hot summer days for a backyard happy hour!
Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 lime wedge
- 8 fresh blackberries, divided
- 3–4 fresh mint leaves
- ice cubes
- 1oz white rum
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons simple syrup
- tonic water
- garnish: mint leaves, extra blackberries, lime wedge
Instructions
- Sugar Rim: Place the sugar on a small plate. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a short glass, flip the glass over, and turn the rim in the sugar.
- Muddle: Place 3 blackberries and 3-4 mint leaves in the bottom of the glass and muddle to break them apart. Add ice cubes to the glass and set aside.
- Blend: Put the remaining 5 blackberries, 1oz white rum, 1.5 tablespoons lime juice, and 1.5 tablespoons simple syrup in a small food processor or blender. Blend to combine and then pour in the glass over ice.
- Tonic Water + Garnish: Add a splash of tonic water and then garnish any way you want. Enjoy!
Notes
- Simple Syrup: option to buy store-bought simple syrup or learn how to make simple syrup!
- Larger Batch: feel free to double or triple this batch to make a few cocktails.
- Mocktail: easily omit the rum, if you prefer a mocktail instead of a cocktail.
