Description

Hot Honey Sauce – a simple, flavorful hot honey recipe that is perfect over chicken, as a dipping sauce and more!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 12 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • pinch of kosher salt
  • pinch of ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in a small sauce pan.
  2. Bring to medium heat.
  3. Stir often and let the honey warm through approx. 3-5 minutes (don’t let it boil here – we are just warming it through so it is “hot”).
  4. Remove from heat and use in your favorite recipe – we love it in our Hot Honey Chicken recipe!

Notes

  • Honey: Use fresh, real honey.
  • Spice: feel free to increase or decrease the crushed red pepper depending upon your spice preferences.
  • Storage: keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
