Caprese Skewers Recipe

The easiest appetizer ever and perfect for every holiday - Caprese Skewers are simple, fresh and delicious!

Ingredients 

  • 4-6 oz mini mozzarella balls
  • 1 pint cherry tomatoes
  • .5oz fresh basil leaves
  • balsamic glaze
  • extra long toothpicks

Instructions

  • Take a long toothpick in your hand and pierce a cherry tomato, sliding it all the way to the end. Repeat that process with a piece of fresh basil, mozzarella ball, another piece of fresh basil and another cherry tomato. 
  • Repeat this process until you have used up all the ingredients.
  • Drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve.

Notes

  • Make Ahead: These are a great appetizer to make-ahead! Just assemble, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and then drizzle with balsamic glaze right before serving.
