Our delicious Chocolate Chip Banana Overnight Oats is made with real, simple ingredients for a quick and easy breakfast or snack!
Ingredients
1medium banana
½cupunsweetened almond milk
1tablespoonpure maple syrup
1teaspoonvanilla extract
¾cuprolled oats
1tablespoonchia seeds
1teaspoonground cinnamon
pinchkosher salt
1tablespoonchocolate protein powderoptional
2tablespoonsdairy free chocolate chipssub cacao nibs, if desired
Instructions
Wet Ingredients: Place 1 medium banana in medium bowl and smash with fork until smooth. Add ½ cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Stir until smooth.
Dry Ingredients: Add ¾ cup rolled oats, 1 tablespoon chia seeds1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, a pinch kosher salt, and 1 tablespoon chocolate protein powder (if using); stir to combine. Stir in 2 tablespoons dairy free chocolate chips.
Chill: Pour into a covered storage container and place in fridge. Let sit for anywhere from 30 minutes to overnight.
Serve: Enjoy with a few more chocolate chips on top, if desired!
Notes
Protein Powder: Feel free to add 1 tablespoon chocolate protein powder if you want a little extra protein (and a little extra chocolate).
Storage: Will last up to 3 days in the refrigerator. Feel free to add a splash of almond milk before eating, if you want.
