Creamy Pineapple Smoothie - A refreshing smoothie that is so creamy while also being dairy-free! Great for a quick breakfast or snack!
Ingredients
1 ½cupsfresh pineapplecut into chunks
½cupunsweetened almond milk
½cupplain dairy free yogurt
ice cubes
1bananafrozen and sliced
2teaspoonsground flax
1teaspoonchia seedsoptional
Instructions
Combine: In a high powered blender, put 1 ½ cups fresh pineapple, ½ cup unsweetened almond milk, ½ cup plain dairy free yogurt, a handful of ice cubes, 1 banana (frozen), 2 teaspoons ground flax, and 1 teaspoon chia seeds (if using).
Blend: Blend on high, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed, until smooth.
Taste: Add additional pineapple for flavor, ice to make thicker or almond milk to thin out.
Serve: Enjoy immediately!
Notes
Frozen Pineapple: If you only have frozen pineapple then simply omit the handful of ice cubes.
Thin out: If the smoothie is too thick for you, add additional almond milk a splash at a time and blend again.
