Our creamy & delicious Dairy-Free Matcha White Hot Chocolate recipe is a a fun spin on a classic hot chocolate!
Ingredients
1/4cupdairy-free white chocolate
1cupfull fat coconut milkblend to fully incorporate before using
1/2cupunsweetened almond milk
1teaspoonmatcha powder
optional: coconut sugar
serving suggestion: mini marshmallows
Instructions
Melt Chocolate: Bring a small saucepan to a medium heat, add the white chocolate and slowly melt.
Whisk: Add coconut milk and almond milk. Whisk to combine on medium heat.
Optional Sugar: Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding coconut sugar, 1/2 tablespoon at a time, if desired (mine didn't need any sweetening, but that is a personal preference).
Matcha: Add the matcha powder and whisk to fully combine (use a milk frother, if needed).
Serve: Ladle into a mug and garnish with marshmallows, if desired.
Notes
Coconut Milk: it tends to separate in the can, so be sure to fully blend back together before using in this recipe.
