This easy and delicious Greek Layer Dip recipe is the perfect addition to any party, get-together or Game Day event! So light and so good!
Ingredients
17ozhummusregular or roasted garlic*
1/2cupkalamata oliveshalved (more if desired)
1cupcherry tomatoeshalved or quartered
1cupcucumberssliced and quartered
1/3cupred oniondiced
4ozfeta cheesecrumbled (reg. or dairy-free)
serving: pita chipssliced pita bread or naan
Instructions
Use a regular-sized pie plate (similar-sized dish of your choice) and add all of the hummus. Smooth out so it is an even layer.
In additional layers add the olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion and feta cheese.
Serve with pita chips, sliced pita bread, naan or some gluten-free crackers.
Notes
*Hummus: we used the Sabre brand and it worked perfectly here, but feel free to use what you prefer.
Gluten-Free: serve with a gluten-free cracker instead of pita or naan.
Dairy-Free: to make this dairy-free use a dairy-free feta cheese.
Make Ahead: this is a great appetizer to make ahead - simply assemble and then cover with foil and place in the refrigerator overnight. Take out whenever you are ready to serve.
