This easy and delicious Greek Layer Dip recipe is the perfect addition to any party, get-together or Game Day event! So light and so good!
Ingredients
17ounceshummusregular or roasted garlic*
1cupcherry tomatoeshalved or quartered
1cupcucumberssliced and quartered
½cupkalamata oliveshalved (more if desired)
4ouncesfeta cheesecrumbled (regular or dairy-free)
⅓cupred oniondiced
serving: pita chipssliced pita bread or naan
Instructions
Hummus: Use a regular-sized pie plate (similar-sized dish of your choice) and add all of the hummus. Smooth out so it is an even layer.
Toppings: In additional layers add the olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion and feta cheese.
Serve: Enjoy with pita chips, sliced pita bread, naan or some gluten-free crackers.
Notes
*Hummus: we used the Sabre brand and it worked perfectly here, but feel free to use what you prefer.
Gluten-Free: serve with a gluten-free cracker instead of pita or naan.
Dairy-Free: to make this dairy-free use a dairy-free feta cheese.
Make Ahead: this is a great appetizer to make ahead - simply assemble and then cover with foil and place in the refrigerator overnight. Take out whenever you are ready to serve.
