Our delicious and simple homemade ketchup recipe is Whole30 + Paleo compliant! Perfect for all of those summer cookouts!
Ingredients
12ouncestomato paste
½cupapple juice
2tablespoonsapple cider vinegar
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoononion powder
½teaspoonkosher salt
⅛teaspoonground cloves
Instructions
Combine: In a small bowl, add 12 ounces tomato paste, ½ cup apple juice, 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon kosher salt, and ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves. Mix to combine.
Serve or Store: Enjoy or place in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks.
Notes
Thin Out: to thin out, add apple juice (& to make it sweeter) or apple cider vinegar (for a more vinegar taste). Add a 1/2 tablespoon at a time, stir, and taste.
