Equipment
Large Pitcher
Ingredients
1-2poundscherrieshalved
2peachessliced (sub apricots)
2quartsunsweetened black tea
ice cubes
1½ouncesJack Daniels honey whiskey
fresh mint leavesoptional garnish
Instructions
Combine: Place halved cherries and sliced peaches in a large pitcher. (Note: squeezing some of the cherries to release their juices will result in a stronger, more flavorful tea) Pour 2 quarts unsweetened black tea over it until the pitcher is full.
Chill: Place in refrigerator and let sit for 24 hours (preferably).
Pour: Add ice cubes to a glass and pour 1½ ounces Jack Daniels honey whiskey over the ice. Add approximately 8oz of infused tea (more or less, depending). Stir.
Serve: Garnish with fresh mint leaves. As you use up the tea, just keep refilling the pitcher. Of course, the tea that sits overnight will taste the best, but it will still taste amazing!
