Our Prosciutto-Wrapped Melon with Basil is the easy and delicious holiday appetizer you are looking for this year!
Ingredients
1ripe cantaloupe
2packages of prosciutto
approximately 2 cups fresh basil leaves
toothpicks
Instructions
Prep Cantaloupe: Remove the seeds and rind from the cantaloupe and cut into small squares.
Prosciutto: Take a piece of prosciutto, cut it in half lengthwise, and across so it is in quarters. Exact size of each piece depends on the size of the cantaloupe chunks. Take a piece of cantaloupe and wrap it in prosciutto.
Basil: Place a folded basil leaf on top and then push toothpick in to hold all together.
Finish: Continue this process until you have used up all the ingredients.
Notes
Prep Ahead of Time: this appetizer can easily be made the day before your event. Simply store in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to serve.
