For dinner tonight you need to make this easy and delicious Roasted Garlic Pizza! Made with real, fresh ingredients in a matter of minutes!
Ingredients
1large head of garlic
extra virgin olive oil
pinchkosher salt
2naan bread
1tablespoonextra virgin olive oil
1large heirloom tomatosliced into 1/2 inch slices
4ouncesfresh mozzarellamore, if desired
2tablespoonsshallotpeeled & thinly sliced
1cupfresh arugula
kosher salt and ground black pepper
Instructions
Prep: Preheat oven to 400℉. Cut the bottom off of 1 large head of garlic.
Roast Garlic: Place the cut garlic head in a piece of aluminum foil. Drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil and pinch kosher salt. Wrap in foil and bake in the oven for 45-60 minutes. Let cool and then pop the roasted garlic cloves out of the peel.
Toppings: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and place 2 naan bread on top. Drizzle the naan with 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil Begin dividing the tomato slices, 4 ounces fresh mozzarella (tear into pieces), and 2 tablespoons shallot between each naan bread.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 4-6 minutes or until cheese is melted. Option to move it under the broiler for 1-2 minutes, if you want more browning.
Finish: On top of the pizzas add fresh arugula, kosher salt and ground black pepper. Cut and serve immediately!
Notes
Pizza Toppings: feel free to get creative here and add or remove any toppings according to your personal preference.
Storage: leftover pizza can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4-5 days. You may want to remove the arugula before reheating to prevent sogginess.
