1medium delicata squashhalved and sliced (leave the skin on, it is edible)
1red onionhalved & sliced

Instructions
Prep: Preheat oven to 375℉. Pierce 4 Italian sausages once or twice with a fork.
Sausage + Veggies: Place sausage, sliced squash, and sliced onion on a large sheet pan. Drizzle with 1-2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil and massage to coat. Sprinkle with a ¼ teaspoon kosher salt. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes, middle rack.
Add Apples: Remove baking sheet from oven and add sliced apples. Sprinkle apples with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Continue baking for an additional 10 minutes or until sausage is fully cooked and squash is firm, but tender.
Serve: Remove and let cool slightly. Serve immediately.
Notes
Sausages: you can use Italian sausage or a chicken sausage (we used the Aidell's Chicken + Apple in the photos).
