Our quick and easy Sautéed Cabbage recipe is the perfect side dish to enjoy with any main dish! Made in under 15 minutes!
Ingredients
1/2head of green cabbagechopped into large pieces with core removed
3tablespoonsbutter
1/2teaspoonkosher saltmore, if desired
1/8teaspoonground black pepper
Instructions
Bring a large cast iron skillet to a medium-high heat and melt butter. Add cabbage and season with salt and pepper.
Move around the hot pan and sauté for 3-5 minutes or until it cooked to your liking (I found that 3-5 minutes resulted in a nice soft, but firm texture - if you want your cabbage softer, just keep cooking and checking the consistency every 3-4 minutes). Cook less time for more crispness and longer for more softness.
Serve immediately!
