This quick and easy tutorial on how to make Smoked Sausage is perfect for enjoying on its own or adding to any of your favorite recipes!
Ingredients
1package of precooked andouille sausage
Instructions
Prep: Preheat smoker to 225 degrees F. and ensure the grill grates are clean.
Smoke: Remove sausage from the packaging and place directly on the hot grates. Let smoke for 1.5-2 hours.
Optional Sear: Once the sausage has finished smoking, feel free to give it a quick sear on a hot grill for about 1-2 minutes per side. This will give it some nice char marks on the outside.
Serve: Enjoy immediately or use in any of your favorite recipes - we love it in our Sausage and Rice!
