▢
8.5
ounces
balsamic vinegar
▢
¼
cup
+ 1 teaspoon sugar
Instructions
Combine
: In a small saucepan, add
8.5 ounces balsamic vinegar
and
¼ cup + 1 teaspoon sugar
. Whisk to fully combine. Bring to a boil.
Simmer
: Reduce to a simmer. Let it simmer for 20-30 minutes. Glaze is done when it coats the back of a spoon (remember it will thicken as it cools).
Sweetness
: If you don't want too sweet of a glaze, start with ¼ cup sugar and taste it at the 20 minute mark. You can always add more sugar.
Serve
: Enjoy right away (after cooling slightly) or store for later!
Notes
Storage
: once it has cooled you can store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Yield
: makes approx. 1 cup.
