Our epic Bagel Dip recipe is a definite crowd-pleaser that is perfect for sharing with all of your family and friends!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (2oz) packages of deli corned beef
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream (sub dairy-free sour cream)
- 1/4 cup sweet yellow onion, minced (sub with dried minced onion)
- 1/2 tablespoon seasoned salt
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- 2 bags of plain bagels, cut sliced bagels into large chunks
Instructions
- Cut Corned Beef: Use a sharp knife and cutting board to cut the slices of corned beef into 1/2 – 1 inch pieces.
- Mix: Put the corned beef pieces in a large bowl with 2 cups mayo, 1 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup minced onion, 1/2 tablespoon seasoned salt, and 1 teaspoon dill weed. Mix to fully combine.
- Option to Refrigerate Overnight: If you have the time, it is highly recommended to let this dip chill, covered, in the fridge overnight before serving. If you don’t have time, that’s ok, it will still be amazing.
- Serve: Enjoy by scooping the dip with the large chunks of bagels!
Notes
- Corned Beef: this family recipe is typically made with Budding’s Sliced Corned Beef, but you can also request thinly sliced corned beef at your local grocery store deli.
- Gluten Free: serve with your favorite gluten-free bagels.
- Storage: leftover bagel dip can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
- Prep Ahead of Time: this is one of those recipes that is even better when prepped ahead of time, giving all the flavors time to hangout together!
- Recipe Inspiration: This recipe comes from Mary, the mom of our long-time blog manager, Bridget! Thanks, Mary for lending us the recipe!
