Description

A flavorful and delicious homemade chipotle lime sauce recipe that is perfect for your next taco or rice bowl.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 chipotle in adobo sauce, more as desired
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce (sub tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • pinch of kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in a small food processor. Blend until smooth.
  2. Taste and add additional chipotles for more spice or more salt, as desired. 
  3. Serve with these Grilled Steak Tacos or these Blackstone Chicken Tacos

Notes

  • Gluten-Free: sub in Tamari for the soy sauce to make this gluten-free.
  • Storage: refrigerate for up to 5 days.
