Description

Easy Grilled Avocado – learn how to grill avocado with this simple step-by-step recipe! Perfect for salads, tacos and rice bowls!


Ingredients

  • 2 avocados, cut in half lengthwise (remove pit)
  • 1 tablespoon avocado or olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoons kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Heat grill to 450-500 degrees F. (high heat).
  2. Brush avocado with oil and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Place avocado halves cut side down directly over flame (direct heat) and let cook for 3 minutes, or until slightly charred.
  4. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Char Marks: If you want really nice char marks, cook over direct heat for 2-3 minutes and then carefully rotate each avocado 90 degrees and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Storage: I would recommend using grilled avocado right away.
