Description
Hard Boiled Eggs in the Oven – a super simple and easy recipe that teaches you how to make hard boiled eggs in the oven!
Ingredients
Scale
- 12 eggs
- 12 muffin-tin liners
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
- Place liners in your muffin tin. Place eggs inside each liner.
- Place in the oven, middle rack, for 30-32 minutes.
- Remove and carefully transfer to an ice bath. Let cool 10 minutes.
- If there are any brown spots, rub off gently while in the ice bath – most should come off.
- Use in your favorite recipe (we love our Classic Egg Salad) or store in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Eggs: feel free to use straight out of the refrigerator – no need to let come to room temp.
- Brown Spots: used muffin tin liners to reduce the amount of brown spots (particularly where the egg meets the pan) – using a silicone liner may be preferred. The few brown spots we did have rubbed off with water.
- Storage: Store extra hard boiled eggs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
