Description

Hard Boiled Eggs in the Oven – a super simple and easy recipe that teaches you how to make hard boiled eggs in the oven!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 eggs
  • 12 muffin-tin liners

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Place liners in your muffin tin. Place eggs inside each liner.
  3. Place in the oven, middle rack, for 30-32 minutes.
  4. Remove and carefully transfer to an ice bath. Let cool 10 minutes.
  5. If there are any brown spots, rub off gently while in the ice bath – most should come off.
  6. Use in your favorite recipe (we love our Creamy Egg Salad) or store in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • Eggs: feel free to use straight out of the refrigerator – no need to let come to room temp.
  • Brown Spots: used muffin tin liners to reduce the amount of brown spots (particularly where the egg meets the pan) – using a silicone liner may be preferred. The few brown spots we did have rubbed off with water.
  • Storage: Store extra hard boiled eggs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
