Description

How to Hard Boil Eggs on the Stove Top – a simple, tried-and-true tutorial that teaches you how to hard boil eggs on the stove top.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 410 large eggs, raw
  • water

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a medium sauce pan.
  2. Cover with water (you will want about an inch of water above the eggs.
  3. Place on the stove top. 
  4. Bring the water to a boil.  As soon as the water boils reduce the heat to simmer the water and set a timer for 10 minutes. 
  5. Remove from heat and carefully transfer eggs to an ice bath.
  6. Let eggs cool for 5-10 minutes.
  7. Either wipe off and store in the fridge until use or peel under running water. 

Notes

  • Storage: you can keep them in the fridge for up to 1 week.  Make sure you label them so they don’t get mixed up with raw eggs!
