A delicious and easy recipe for Cilantro Yogurt Sauce that is perfect for cilantro lime shrimp or cilantro lime chicken! So good!
Ingredients
3/4cupplain Greek Yogurt
1/4cupfresh cilantrochopped
1/4cupmayo
2-4tablespoonslime juice
1tablespoonlight olive oil
zest of 1 lime
1/4teaspoonkosher salt
1/8teaspoonground black pepper
Instructions
Blend: Add ingredients to a small food processor. Blend until smooth.
Taste and Adjust: Taste and add additional lime or cilantro, as desired.
Serve: Place in refrigerator for later or serve immediately - we love this on our Cilantro Lime Shrimp Bowl!
Notes
Mayo: if you are not a fan of mayo, you could probably omit (although I haven't test it that way). That mayo does bring a bit of saltiness so you might need to adjust the salt level after you taste it.
Dairy-Free: there are a few dairy-free "Greek yogurt" replacements out there on the market - you could try one of those or even a plain dairy free yogurt would most likely work.
