This is the classic cranberry sauce you always wanted! Super simple and easy to make and you can control how sweet you like it!
Ingredients
10ouncesfresh cranberries
1cupwater
½cupgranulated sugar
Instructions
Combine: In a medium saucepan, put 10 ounces fresh cranberries, 1 cup water, and ½ cup granulated sugar. Stir to combine.
Cook Sauce: Bring to boil and then reduce to simmer. Let simmer 25-35 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve: Remove and let cool before serving.
Notes
*Sugar: you can actually add up to 1 cup of sugar, but it depends upon how sweet you want your cranberry sauce. I liked it with 1/2 cup sugar (it was a little sweet, but still tart), but you can always add more even after it is fully cooked - so taste and adjust according to your personal preferences.
Make Ahead: this is a great recipe to make ahead of Thanksgiving or any holiday dinner.
Storage: store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
