Easy Mojito Recipe (how to make a mojito)
- learn how to make a mojito at home with this easy, tried-and-true recipe! Perfect for a hot summer day!
Ingredients

fresh mint leaves

ice cubes
▢

ounce
white rum
▢
1 ½
tablespoon
lime juice
or
key lime juice

tablespoon
simple syrup
▢
splash of tonic water
Instructions
Muddle
: Add
2-3 tablespoons fresh mint leaves
to glass. Use a
cocktail muddler
to muddle the mint leaves.
Combine
: Add
ice cubes
,
1 ounce white rum
,
1 ½ tablespoon lime juice
,
1 ½ tablespoon
simple syrup
and a
splash of tonic water
.
Serve
: Stir and garnish with fresh lime slice and mint sprigs.
Notes
*Lime Juice
: feel free to use fresh lime juice, bottled lime juice or
key lime juice
.
**Tonic Water
: while you can use a sparkling water or soda water - we tested all the options - the tonic water resulted in the best tasting mojito.
