Simmer: Add 1 cup water to a small sauce pan. Bring water to medium heat (just short of a boil) and add 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Stir to combine and let maple syrup dissolve. Don't let water get super hot, just hot enough to be able to steep the tea bags.
Steep Tea: Add 1-2 chai tea bags and remove saucepan from heat. Let steep 5-10 minutes.
Chill: At this point, you can pour the tea into a glass and place it in the refrigerator to use the next day or later that day. Alternatively, you can just let the tea cool a little and then pour over ice cubes to completely cool - do whatever you prefer.
Almond Milk: Pour in ½ cup unsweetened almond milk and stir to combine.
