Description

Best Salmon Marinade – a classic, delicious salmon marinade recipe that is perfect no matter how you cook your salmon!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce (use coconut aminos for gluten-free)
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey (more to taste)
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in small bowl.
  2. Whisk to combine.
  3. Place salmon fillets in pan or reusable silicone bag; pour marinade over and ensure salmon is fully coated.
  4. Let salmon marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes and no longer than 2 hours.
  5. Cook however you would like – we love grilling salmon or making Cedar Plank Salmon

Notes

  • Gluten-Free: to make this gluten-free simply use coconut aminos instead of soy sauce.
