Description

A seriously delicious Country Style Ribs recipe that is packed with flavor and so easy to make! Perfect for a weeknight or cookout!

Ingredients

Scale

Dry Rub:

  • 1/2 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon smoked garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Country Style Ribs:

  • 4 lbs country style ribs
  • 12 tablespoons liquid smoke
  • 12 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 24 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1 bottle of your favorite bbq sauce

Instructions

  1. Prep: Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Option to line a 9×13 baking dish with foil, if you want, for easier clean-up.
  2. Dry Rub: In a small bowl combine the Dry Rub ingredients.
  3. Prep Ribs: Place ribs inside 9×13 baking dish. Pour liquid smoke over top and then rub all over ribs, getting in every nook and cranny. Repeat process with the worcestershire sauce and then the yellow mustard. Sprinkle the Dry Rub all over the ribs and rub into them – this will create a bit of the paste when mixed with the yellow mustard.
  4. Bake: Cover pan with foil and place in the oven, middle rack, for approx. 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 140-150 degrees F (use an internal meat thermometer). Remove foil and return pan to oven and let cook until the internal temperature reaches 195 degrees F. Remove pan from oven and brush on your favorite bbq sauce. Increase oven temp to 400 degrees F. and return to oven, uncovered. Let cook another 5-10 minutes or until BBQ sauce is nice and tacky and the internal temp rises to 200 degrees F.
  5. Rest + Serve: Remove from oven and let rest 10-15 minutes. Serve with additional BBQ sauce – we love serving these with our Dill Pickle Pasta Salad!
