Description

How to Make Cold Foam – an easy, step-by-step tutorial that teaches you how to make cold foam 5 different ways! Easier than you think!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/21 cup whole milk, dairy-free creamer or carton of coconut milk
  • sweetener of your choice (if desired)*

Instructions

Hand Frother:

  1. Add milk or dairy-free alternative to glass measuring cup.
  2. Froth with hand frother for 2-3 minutes or until it is nice and frothy.

French Press:

  1. Add milk or dairy-free alternative to french press. 
  2. Pump french press for about 1 minute or two or until it has reached your desired frothiness.

Milk Frother:

  1. Add milk or dairy-free alternative to milk frother.
  2. Turn dial to “cold foam” or “cold stir” and press start.

Blender:

  1. add your ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend on HIGH until the foam as reached your desired consistency.

Mason Jar:

  1. add your ingredients to a cold mason jar. Close the lid tightly and shake the mixture has reached your desired consistency.

Serving:

  1. Serve over your favorite cold/iced coffee or tea drink. We love it with our homemade cold brew or in this yummy iced matcha latte!

Notes

  • *Sweetness: feel free to add in a teaspoon of vanilla extract and/or a sweetener of your choice (maple syrup, honey, simple syrup) before making your cold foam if you want.
  • Dairy-Free Creamers: how well certain dairy-free creamers froth up can really vary from brand to brand and you are just going to have to do some experimenting too see what works best for you. I personally recommend using this carton of coconut milk as it always froths really nicely.
