Description

A simple and easy tutorial that teaches you how to make crostini easily at home! Perfect for all of your favorite appetizers!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slices fresh french baguette
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Slice a french baguette into 1/2 inch pieces (I like to cut it at a slight angle).
  3. Place on baking sheet in a single layer and brush each piece with olive oil.
  4. Place in oven, middle rack, and let bake until they start to turn golden brown; approx. 4-8 minutes of cook time (keep an eye on them – everyone’s oven is a bit different).
  5. Remove and let cool. Use in your favorite recipes – we love our Homemade Bruschetta and this Ultimate Artichoke Dip!

Notes

  • Servings: of course you can use this for more or less than 12 slices – however you may need to cook them in batches, depending on the size of your baking pan.
  • Storage: store in an airtight container on the counter top for 3-5 days.
