Description

How to Make Sweet Cream Cold Foam – an easy step-by-step tutorial on how to make sweet cream cold foam at home!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup coconut milk* (regular milk works if you aren’t dairy-free)
  • 23 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions

Hand Frother:

  1. Add coconut milk (or other dairy-free creamer), maple syrup and vanilla extract to a glass measuring cup.
  2. Stir to combine.
  3. Froth with hand frother for 2-3 minutes or until it is nice and frothy.

French Press:

  1. Add coconut milk (or other dairy-free creamer), maple syrup and vanilla extract to a french press.
  2. Stir to combine.
  3. Pump french press for about 1 minute or two or until it has reached your desired frothiness.

Milk Frother:

  1. Add coconut milk (or other dairy-free creamer), maple syrup and vanilla extract to a milk frother.
  2. Stir to combine.
  3. Turn dial to “cold foam” or “cold stir” and press start.

Serving:

  1. Serve over your favorite cold/iced coffee or tea drink. We love it with our homemade cold brew!

Notes

  • Coconut Milk: I prefer this carton coconut milk – it gets so frothy and works so well!
  • Other Dairy-Free Alternatives: feel free to substitute any other dairy-free alternative instead of the coconut milk. They all froth a little differently (and can vary from brand to brand).
  • Maple Syrup Substitute: you can use simple syrup or even honey if you want instead of the maple syrup.
  • Vanilla Extract: you can use vanilla paste if you prefer, but we really like the ease of just using some good, organic vanilla extract.
