How to Freeze Blueberries
How to Freeze Blueberries - a simple tutorial on how to easily freeze blueberries! Perfect for stocking up during the summer when they are less expensive!
Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Prep: Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Freeze: Lay clean, dry blueberries on top of parchment, try not to have them touch too much. Place in freezer for a minimum of two hours (overnight works well).
- Store: Remove tray from freezer and scoop up blueberries to transfer them to a freezer-safe storage bag or container.
- Serve: Use in this blueberry banana smoothie!
How to Thaw Frozen Blueberries:
- Place frozen blueberries in a bowl and leave on counter for one hour or until soft.
Notes
- How many blueberries: Feel free to use as much or as little blueberries as you like.
- What to use them for: these are perfect to use in Blueberry Overnight Oats, Paleo Blueberry Muffin Bread, or a Blueberry Banana Smoothie!
