Ingredients
Instant Pot Ham:
5-6poundpre-cookedbone-in ham
1cupwater
1/2cupapple cider or apple juice
3 Ingredient Ham Glaze:
1/4cupbrown sugar
3tablespoonsbuttermelted
1teaspoondijon mustard
Instructions
Prep Ham: Place ham on a plate and score with a paring knife.
Prep Instant Pot: Add water and apple cider to the Instant Pot; place trivet inside.
Cook Ham: Cover and seal Instant Pot. Cook on HIGH pressure for 12 minutes and then let naturally release for 10 minutes. Carefully release remaining pressure manually according to manufacturer's instructions.
Glaze: Combine Glaze ingredients in a small bowl. Taste and add any flavors, as desired. Remove ham from Instant Pot and brush all over with glaze - option to place under broiler after you brush on glaze for a minute or two (watch carefully so it doesn't burn) if you want the glaze to firm up and become tacky.
Serve: Slice and serve immediately.
Notes
Apple Cider: do NOT use apple cider vinegar - this recipe calls for apple cider.
Ham Gravy: feel free to use any leftover liquid to make some homemade ham gravy.
